Bow Wow’s real name is Shad Gregory Moss. He grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was born on March 9, 1987 to parents Alfonso and Teresa Moss. Bow Wow started rapping at the age of 5 and used the stage name Kid Gangsta. In 1993, he was discovered by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre while performing at a Chronic Tour in Columbus. The two rappers gave him the name Lil’ Bow Wow and later on introduced him to Jermaine Dupri who eventually became his mentor
His career went on a fast track from then on by becoming an opening act to Dr. Dre and landing a spot on the Death Row Record’s roster of artists. He also appeared on Snoop Dogg’s single Doggystyle. Bow Wow released his debut album in 2000 entitled Beware of the Dog which includes his first number 1 hit Bounce With Me. Mock ancillary tasks

This is the poster for our artist - Singnature. We decided to have our artist in our main image not face the camera to seem more defiant or rebellious suggesting that he is not conforming to direct address. Our artist is his own person.

For the time being this is the chosen masthead (logo). The font is called - Nyala (Adobe Photoshop CS5). Several edits have be made to make it look unique including the mixture of the Black and Gray colours to give it that chrome effect. This has been purposely done to show that the artist music is a mixture of genre. Right now however, we believe this colour scheme isn't what we truly want for our artist and are at the moment still coming up with a suitable colour scheme.

Update

Since last updating the production log our group has done even more filming. Our filming includes green screen footage and establishing shots. hopefully if everything goes well and according to plan we will meet our deadlines. Due to the weather problems it has been very difficult to film as there have been many delays.

On a positive note however, in lessons, i have managed to make a minimum for 50seconds worth of solid work for the video. I also use the lesson times positively experimenting with the software.

Update-24/11/2010

On all of these days, 16th 17th 19th and 22nd of Novemeber, we all as a group have been working on editing. We all have one location to edit, one location is about one and a half to two hours long. At this moment in time i am slowly familiarising myself with with the software so therefore getting my way around it. I am currently working on the begininng of the video which is fun to do. There are three different locations in the opening sequence which is good as i have a choice of settings.

Timetable

8th November 2010:
To shoot a club scene.
On Friday 5th of Novemeber, I sorted out the lighting to the room which will hopefully work well. Managed to get a strobe light and a variety of performers.
This is a very significant scene in the whole video as there will be a lot of eye contact between the characters and also physical interaction. It may be cliche but we are still aiming to keep the original codes and conventions of Hip/Hop and RnB videos.
